New Collective Agreement
We have a new 3-year collective agreement. Members received a 3% market adjustment plus increases of 3.75%, 3.5%, and 3% over the term. In the words of the President: “This is the best agreement that I have seen in 22 years of working here.” Pay increases take effect on the October 10th pay cheque for both Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Awards
Congratulations to Tatia Leader (Level 0) and Nick Anbeek (Mountain/Prairie) for winning Hidden Hero Awards at the Community Breakfast. Thank you to all members who submitted nominations.
Upcoming Elections
Elections for the Executive Committee will be held at the Annual General Meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of January 2025. Any member in good standing is welcome to run. Watch for posters and emails in the coming weeks with nomination details and voting instructions.
